We're looking for someone with strong technical skills and experience of leading a team. This is a hands-on role which will involve mentoring junior engineers and driving technical changes. Excellent communication skills are a must as this job requires dealing with not just fellow engineers, but the product team who we work closely with and the wider company. Switching between different mobile platforms should be natural to you and some experience with web technologies is important.
Experience in monitoring production environments, diagnosing live issues and prioritising technical needs vs the product backlog is essential. On top of this you'll have strong experience in TDD/unit testing and can lead mob/group learning sessions with confidence.
Seeing features from an idea through to deployment on the App/Play store is another skill you'll need to possess, along with a track record of managing automated CI/CD pipelines.
